# 2.27.0

By Steven Van · 2026-09-22

Fireflies' uploadAudio mutation takes an optional ISO 8601 meeting\_date, so imported recordings are dated by when they happened, not when uploaded.

Audio uploads to the [Fireflies.ai](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/fireflies>) API can now carry the date the meeting actually happened. The uploadAudio mutation accepts an optional meeting\_date field on AudioUploadInput, [documented in version 2.27.0](<https://docs.fireflies.ai/graphql-api/mutation/upload-audio>).

It is meant for importing historical recordings. Without it, the meeting is dated with the upload time. With it, the meeting gets its real start time.

- The value is an ISO 8601 string, for example 2026-03-14T15:00:00Z. Offsets are normalized to UTC.

- Nonexistent calendar dates are rejected.

- The date must not be in the future.

- When the field is omitted, the upload time is used as before.
