By Steven Van · 2026-04-23

The beta gives scripts and internal automations a way to authenticate to Figma without an interactive user login.

Figma's new Plan Access Tokens, or PLANTs, are in beta as an authentication method for server-to-server integrations and internal automation, offering an alternative to existing token types for connecting scripts and services to [Figma](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/figma>) without a user logging in interactively.
