# Figma Make’s Payload-powered backend is now available to everyone

By Steven Van · 2026-10-23

Figma Make users can now ship websites with a built-in backend powered by Payload CMS, a feature Figma has opened up to everyone.

Figma said on October 23 that the [Figma Make](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/figma-make>) backend built with Payload CMS is now available to everyone.

Official Figma Make announcement demo.

Figma brought Payload, an open-source headless CMS, into Figma Make so sites you build there can ship with a built-in backend. That means content and data can live with the site instead of in a separate service you wire up later.

Figma framed the post as a reminder of the earlier announcement, with the news being wider availability today. It did not list plan requirements.
