# Figma's Grid layout is now generally available

By Steven Van · 2026-05-22

Reorder rows and columns in place, auto-position items in empty cells, and let grids auto-resize to fit content.

[Figma](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/figma>)'s Grid layout is now generally available, with changes aimed at cutting down manual fixes.

- Reorder columns and rows directly in the grid

- Auto-position items into empty cells

- Auto-add or remove rows so the grid fits its contents
