By Steven Van · 2026-06-21

Check Designs flags variable, contrast, library and component mismatches for Full seat, Organization and Enterprise plans.

Figma's Check Designs tool is now generally available to **Full seat**, **Organization**, and **Enterprise** plans. It checks a file against the connected design system and flags where it's drifted, covering:

- Variable and style suggestions

- Color contrast suggestions

- Library mismatch detection

- Detached component detection

The [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2062569805102850420>) describes it as keeping every file synced to the design system, useful for catching inconsistencies before they reach a build.
