# Creator and Viewer Team Roles

Creators can use the Playground, Sandbox, and Workflows, while Viewers can inspect request logs and the library without making changes.

Admins on [fal](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/fal>) can now assign Creator and Viewer roles to team members. The [October 9 announcement](<https://docs.fal.ai/changelog#october-9-2026>) adds separate permissions for using creation tools and viewing team resources.

## Creator access

Creators can use the Playground, Sandbox, and Workflows. They cannot view request logs or manage API keys, billing, members, or roles.

## Viewer access

Viewers have read-only access to team resources, including request logs and the library. They cannot run models or change anything. Existing members keep their current roles.
