# Music: Music v2.5 API support: Music endpoints and SDKs now accept music\_v2\_5

ElevenLabs' music endpoints and SDKs add support for the music\_v2\_5 model and longer composition plan chunks.

ElevenLabs' [ElevenLabs](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/elevenlabs>) music API and SDKs now accept the **music\_v2\_5** model ID. The [update](<https://elevenlabs.io/docs/changelog/2026/9/14#music>) also raises the limit on composition plan generation chunks to 6,132 characters, with up to 30 lines of 200 characters each.
