# Does it have a moat scores startups with verified revenue

By Steven Van · 2026-10-27

Will's site scores founder brand, distribution, and other moats on startups with TrustMRR revenue, and it does not publish a price.

On October 27, Will, who does marketing at Postiz, launched [Does it have a moat?](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/does-it-have-a-moat>) at doesithaveamoat.com. The site scores startups that already earn, and it lets you paste your own URL for a score, the moats you have, and where a clone would get in.

Launch demo of the leaderboard and a startup check.

Revenue comes from TrustMRR, which reads Stripe or another payment provider the founder connected. The homepage says it has checked $8.5 million in verified monthly revenue across 143 startups, and that 101 of them, making $2 million a month together, score as moatless. Claude scores founder brand, distribution, funding, approvals, and networks. Under 25 is moatless, 25 to 54 is shallow, and 55 and up is a real moat. The page's median rebuild time is two weeks.

The homepage does not publish a price for the leaderboard or the startup check. Corrections go to will@elderine.co. A report stays up after one check, and the site refreshes them later.
