# Descript adds GPT Image 2 for in-editor image generation

Descript users can now generate images without leaving the project to use a separate tool.

GPT Image 2 is now built into [Descript](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/descript>), so generating an image no longer means leaving the project to use a separate tool and bringing the result back in.
