# Descript's Underlord assistant upgrades to Claude Opus 4.7

Descript says the newer model makes Underlord faster and cheaper while improving output quality.

Descript's Underlord assistant now runs on Claude Opus 4.7, up from Opus 4.6. The [vendor says](<https://x.com/i/status/2045913308906271156>) the switch makes it faster and cheaper, on top of better output.
