# Nova-3 Medical: Improved English Models for Batch and Streaming

Hosted users receive the improvements automatically; self-hosted customers must request updated models from their account representative.

English medical transcription now produces fewer word errors and fewer errors on medical entities in [Deepgram](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/deepgram>)’s Nova-3 Medical model. The improvements apply to both batch and streaming.

## Supported English variants

The updated nova-3-medical models support en, en-US, en-AU, en-CA, en-GB, en-IE, en-IN and en-NZ in both processing modes.

## Accessing the update

Hosted users receive the improvements without changing their API requests. Self-hosted customers can also use the updated models, but must request them for download from their Deepgram account representative.
