# Nova-3 Improved Models for Catalan, French, Indonesian, and Vietnamese

The updates apply automatically to existing API requests; self-hosted customers must request updated models from their account representative.

Existing API requests now use [Deepgram](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/deepgram>)’s updated Nova-3 monolingual models automatically, with improvements split between batch and streaming transcription.

## Which models changed

- Batch transcription improves for Vietnamese (vi) and Catalan (ca).

- Streaming transcription improves for French (fr, fr-CA) and Indonesian (id).

## Access to the updates

The updates are live for all users, with no API request changes required. Self-hosted customers should request the updated models for download from their Deepgram account representative.
