# .NET SDK v7.1.3

By Steven Van · 2026-10-12

Listen V1 WebSocket connections now accept an omitted model, with or without keyterms.

Omitting the model no longer causes Connect to throw NullReferenceException in [Deepgram](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/deepgram>) .NET SDK v7.1.3. LiveSchema.Model is now optional for the Listen V1 WebSocket, whether or not the caller supplies keyterms.

Keyterms paired with an explicitly non-Nova-3 model still fail validation with DeepgramException. The [release notes](<https://github.com/deepgram/deepgram-dotnet-sdk/releases/tag/7.1.3>) report that CI passed, with tests covering connections without a model, keyterms without a model, and keyterms with a non-Nova-3 model.
