# Flux TTS Adds 41 Languages and 230 Voices

Flux TTS adds voices in languages from Bengali to Vietnamese on the same endpoints, with text normalization in nine and Early Access for the other 32.

Deepgram's Flux TTS now covers 41 more languages with 230 new voices. The [Deepgram](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/deepgram>) [voice catalog](<https://developers.deepgram.com/docs/flux-tts/voices>) uses the same /v2/speak endpoint and the same flux-{voice}-{language} model strings as before. The English voices are unchanged.

## Languages and text normalization

German, Dutch, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish ship with text normalization. The other 32 languages are in Early Access without it, so numbers, dates and abbreviations are read as written. For those languages, write them out in words.

The Early Access languages are Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Gujarati, Hungarian, Indonesian, Kannada, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Marathi, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Telugu, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu and Vietnamese.

Some languages offer regional variants in the catalog:

- Dutch and Dutch (Flemish)

- German and German (Swiss)

- Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal)

- Chinese in Mandarin, Taiwanese Mandarin and Cantonese (all Early Access)

## Using a voice

Pick a voice from the catalog and pass its model string as model. The same catalog is served over both the streaming WebSocket and batch REST transports. For example, the connection URL for the English voice Haley is wss://api.deepgram.com/v2/speak?model=flux-haley-en.

The catalog lists each non-English voice with its gender. The English voices also list accent, age, character and suggested use cases. Deepgram says voices can be heard live at talk.deepgram.com.
