# Cursor lets you mark up your UI to edit the code behind it

By Steven Van · 2026-06-06

The new Design Mode turns on-screen sketches and pointing into code edits, with plan and platform details limited to the announcement.

Cursor's new **Design Mode** lets you point at, draw on, or talk through changes to your UI directly inside the editor. Instead of describing an interface tweak in text, you can mark up the design on screen and have Cursor apply the edit to the underlying code.

Details are limited to the [announcement post](<https://x.com/i/status/2062950344687272144>); Cursor hasn't specified platform or plan availability beyond that.
