# Cloud Agent Canvases and Environment Improvements

By Steven Van · 2026-10-16

Cloud agents can build shareable canvases, a beta Environments API manages agent setups, and environments now hold up to 300 repositories.

Cursor's cloud agents can now build interactive canvases as part of their work. A finished canvas can be shared with a team by sending its link.

## Environments API

The [Environments API](<https://cursor.com/docs/cloud-agent/api/endpoints#environments>) is in beta. It lets you create and manage the saved cloud environments that agents run in, which are the repositories and environment.json configuration otherwise managed in the Cloud Agents dashboard.

- Create, list, get, update and delete environments.

- Rename an environment, replace its configuration, or do both in one request.

- List an environment's change history and its builds.

An environment can belong to one user (personal) or be shared with the team (team).

## Larger, faster environments

Environments now support up to **300 repositories**. Large environments also load **5x faster**.
