Microsoft says it is expanding Copilot for finance with more than 25 new finance skills and partner-built plugins. The blog describes reconciling accounts by comparing balances and transactions, identifying discrepancies, and tracing what changed in a workbook's history. It does not use the X post's exact phrases for every step.

On the blog's get-started list, accounting in Excel and Cowork is on Frontier, and finance skills in Excel are generally available. Capital markets and finance plugins in Cowork are generally available. A Dynamics 365 ERP plugin and partner plugins are beginning to roll out. The post does not list a price.
