# Codex agent tasks can now be run from the ChatGPT mobile app

iOS and Android users can start, review, and approve Codex tasks remotely while the work keeps running on their own machine.

Codex is now available in preview inside the ChatGPT mobile app, for iOS and Android. Tasks can be started, reviewed, and steered from a phone while [Codex](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/openai-codex>) keeps running on a laptop, Mac mini, or devbox, so execution continues on the machine even when the request comes from the app.

The mobile app lets users approve next steps and review outputs on the go, without needing to be at the machine that's actually running the code.
