The agent works inside signed-in sites like Gmail and Salesforce and runs parallel tasks across tabs, available now outside the EU and UK.

[Codex](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/openai-codex>) now runs as a browser extension, available for Mac and Windows in [Codex for Chrome](<https://x.com/i/status/2052480800004956323>). It works inside signed-in sites like Gmail, LinkedIn, Salesforce, and internal tools, writing and running code to navigate pages and complete tasks, and can run in parallel across multiple tabs in the background.

- For each step, it picks whichever approach works best: plugins, its own in-app browser, or Chrome itself for sites that require a login.

- The extension is available now in the Codex app, in all regions except the EU and UK.
