The update fixes dropped permission prompt answers in cloud sessions and lost messages when quitting.

Claude Code 2.1.291 fixes two regressions affecting cloud-session permission prompts and session history when quitting, according to Anthropic’s [changelog](<https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#21291>).

## Cloud-session permission prompts

Cloud sessions could drop answers to permission prompts after a regression in version 2.1.290. This release fixes it.

## Messages retained when quitting

A regression in version 2.1.288 could cause a session’s last messages to be lost when quitting. This release fixes that issue.
