A 2.1.265 regression broke Claude Code for LLM-gateway and proxy setups using API keys; 2.1.266 fixes it with no config changes required.

Claude Code **2.1.266** fixes a regression from 2.1.265 that broke LLM-gateway and proxy setups. The undocumented CLAUDE\_CODE\_USE\_GATEWAY variable, previously ignored unless ANTHROPIC\_BASE\_URL and ANTHROPIC\_AUTH\_TOKEN were both set, had started forcing Cloud gateway sign-in on its own, so configurations that set it alongside an API key, apiKeyHelper, or custom auth headers failed every request with "Not signed in to the Cloud gateway".

The variable is ignored again when set on its own. No configuration change is needed.
