[Claude Code](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/claude-code>) **2.1.252** is a bug-fix release covering Bash, permissions, Remote Control and background tasks.

- Bash commands no longer fail with a "task output swap refused (tasks dir moved or linked)" error on some Macs.

- "Always allow" now saves correctly in a project that doesn't yet have a .claude/settings.local.json file.

- Remote Control sessions hosted by Claude Desktop or VS Code no longer stall for minutes after a tool finishes when the connection to claude.ai is degraded.

- Background task notifications with very large failure output, such as git errors on a full disk, no longer push the conversation past the API request size limit.
