# Claude connects to Adobe, Blender, Ableton and more creative apps By Steven Van · 2026-04-28 New connectors let Claude work inside tools like Photoshop, Fusion and SketchUp, alongside a new Claude Design product exporting to Canva. Claude can now connect directly to creative software instead of working only as a separate chat window. Anthropic has released a set of connectors linking [Claude]() to tools across 3D, design, video and audio, letting it help with ideation, teach unfamiliar features, and handle repetitive production work inside the apps creators already use. - **Ableton**: grounds answers in official documentation for Live and Push. - **Adobe**: works across 50+ Creative Cloud tools including Photoshop, Premiere and Express. - **Affinity by Canva**: automates tasks like batch image adjustments, layer renaming and file export, and can generate custom in-app features. - **Autodesk Fusion**: lets Fusion subscribers create and modify 3D models through conversation. - **Blender**: gives a natural-language interface to Blender's Python API, for exploring scenes and accessing documentation. - **Resolume Arena and Wire**: let VJs and live visual artists control Arena, Avenue and Wire in real time for live performance and AV production. - **SketchUp**: turns a description of a room, piece of furniture or site concept into a starting model to refine in SketchUp. - **Splice**: lets music producers search its royalty-free sample catalogue from within Claude. The Blender connector was built by the Blender developers and released as an official MCP connector; because it's built on MCP, it also works with other LLMs. Anthropic made a one-time donation to support Blender's continued development of its Python API, which the integration relies on. Alongside the connectors, Anthropic Labs is introducing **Claude Design**, a new product for exploring and iterating on software experience ideas, with export starting to Canva. Anthropic is also giving students and faculty in creative computation programs at RISD, Ringling College of Art and Design, and Goldsmiths, University of London access to Claude and the connectors.
