# Claude gets a design mode for slides and prototypes

By Steven Van · 2026-04-18

Claude Design, built on Opus 4.7, turns descriptions into prototypes, slides and one-pagers exportable to Canva, PDF or PPTX.

Anthropic Labs has introduced Claude Design, a way to make prototypes, slides, and one-pagers by describing them to [Claude](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/claude>) rather than building them by hand. It runs on Opus 4.7.

Finished work can be exported to Canva, PDF, or PPTX, or handed off directly to Claude Code for further development.
