# Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion arrive in beta By Steven Van · 2026-10-08 Dashboards are in beta on paid plans and Motion on Team and Enterprise, while the standalone Claude Design site closes on December 14. [Claude]() now builds live dashboards and code-based animations, and its Docs, Slides and Design features are [out of beta](). ## Claude Dashboards Dashboards is in beta on paid plans. It connects to a data platform (Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks or Snowflake) or to a connector such as Salesforce. A question in plain language produces a dashboard that stays current as the data changes. Each chart shows when its data was last refreshed, and clicking any number shows the query behind it or lets Claude explain it. When a question needs deeper analysis, a dashboard can be sent from Claude to Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Omni, Perplexity, PostHog or Sigma. Databricks Genie, Looker, monday.com and Tableau are listed as coming soon. ## Claude Motion Motion is in beta on Team and Enterprise. Claude writes code that animates text, charts, shapes and images, so any word, number or timing can be changed in the editor or by asking Claude. The result plays like a short video and downloads as an MP4. It does not use a video generation model, so there is no generated footage and no AI-generated people. Animations can be opened in Adobe, Descript, HeyGen, Higgsfield, invideo, Luma AI or Runway, with Canva and Captions coming soon. ## Docs, Slides and Design leave beta - Available on every plan, including Free. People have made more than 45 million docs, decks and designs so far. - Artifacts now support CMEK, and admins choose which artifact templates their organization uses. - Teams and Claude can work on the same doc, deck, design or dashboard. - Slides, designs, dashboards and animations can be shared outside an organization, or with anyone who has the link, if the admin allows it. - PowerPoint and PDF exports keep the editor's formatting, and decks go to Google Slides as editable files. - Docs, decks and designs can be edited in the Claude mobile app. ## Standalone Claude Design closes December 14 Design has worked inside every Claude conversation since September 16. The standalone site at claude.ai/design stays available until **December 14**. Team design systems can be migrated with "Migrate team design systems" on the Artifacts page, which brings over every design system in the organization and leaves the originals unchanged until the site closes. Projects keep working in the standalone version until then. Chats and comments stay in the standalone version and will not be available after it closes, and public links to standalone projects stop working at that point. ## Enterprise admins Dashboards and Motion are off by default and can be turned on in Organization settings under Artifacts. Docs, Slides and Design turn on by default on October 15, or can be turned on earlier.
