# Temporary Chat now carries memories and instructions

OpenAI's ChatGPT lets temporary sessions use personalisation and be saved to history, without creating new memories.

Temporary Chat in [ChatGPT](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/chatgpt>) can now use personalisation while it's running: existing memories, custom instructions and plugins all carry over into a temporary session. Temporary chats still don't create new memories and stay out of the sidebar, but if one turns into something worth keeping, it can now be saved to history.
