# Canva designs can now be pulled up inside Gemini and Google Search

Typing @Canva in Gemini or searching in AI Mode can now generate, edit and resize Canva designs, following earlier connectors for Claude, ChatGPT and

Canva has added an AI Connector for Google Gemini, powered by its MCP Server. Connecting a Canva account lets someone type @Canva in Gemini to generate new designs, browse and summarise existing Canva content, edit text and images across slides through prompts, resize designs for different platforms, and turn Gemini-generated images into editable layouts using Magic Layers. Prompts that reference a Brand Kit produce designs using that account's colours, fonts and identity, and Canva Enterprise teams can autofill brand templates with context from a Gemini conversation.

Canva has also launched a connector for AI Mode in Google Search, letting a search prompt pull up relevant Canva templates to open and edit, or export an AI-generated image from Search into Canva for editing, printing or sharing.
