An Alt-click or the new 'Pick from layers' toggle still lets you target a specific layer directly.

[Bolt](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/bolt-new>)'s select tool now picks the topmost useful layer when you click an element in the preview, rather than the raw DOM node under the cursor. Details are in the [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2046264695083106633>).
