# Bolt rebuilds project sharing with roles and public/private control

By Steven Van · 2026-04-23

Teammates can be added as Viewer, Editor, or Co-owner, and publishing is now separate from sharing, with trusted domains for private access.

Bolt has rebuilt project sharing. Teammates can now be invited as Viewer, Editor, or Co-owner, and a project can be shared with one person, a whole team, or via a link.

Publishing is now a separate step from sharing: a project can be set to public or private, with trusted domains allowed for private access. The update is covered in Bolt's [announcement](<https://x.com/i/status/2047017008856756712>) for [Bolt](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/bolt-new>).
