# Test a table's permissions from the Data page

By Steven Van · 2026-09-27

Base44 app builders can preview their app as another user from a table's menu, to check its data rules before real users hit a gap.

[Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) now has a **Test Permissions in preview** option in a table's More actions menu on the Data page. It opens the app's preview as another user, on a page that reads that table, so the table's rules can be checked before anyone using the app [runs into a gap](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#september-27-2026>).
