# Steer your app's first build

By Steven Van · 2026-10-06

On the web, users can send additions to their initial request without waiting for the build to finish.

The Send button in [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) now works while an app’s first build is running on the web. Users can add to their initial request without waiting for the build to finish, just as they already could on later turns.

The change is included in the [October 6 announcement](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-6-2026>).
