# Private files show as previews

Image thumbnails and file chips appear in the Data tab, trash view, and record drawer.

Plain links for private files in [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) app records have been replaced with image thumbnails and file chips.

The previews appear in the Data tab, the trash view, and the record drawer, according to the [October 7 update](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-7-2026>).
