# Plan mode skips the design-mockup question for new web apps

New web apps in Base44's Plan mode skip the design-mockup image question; mobile, game, and editor-based plan iteration still ask it.

Plan mode's clarifying questions for new web apps are now text-only, so the design-mockup image question no longer appears when you start a build. [The change](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#august-4-2026>) applies only to new web app creation in [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>): mobile and game creation, and plan iteration inside the editor, still ask it.
