# Move a Base44 domain to another app

Domains bought in Base44 keep their tag and connect instantly to the new app, with no DNS setup, as long as both apps share a workspace.

Base44 now lets a domain bought through the platform move to a different app in the same workspace. The domain keeps its Base44 Domain tag and connects straight away, with no DNS records to set up.

## How the move works

According to the [Base44 changelog](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-19-2026>), the move has three steps:

- Unlink the domain.

- Delete it from the old app.

- Connect it to the new app.

This applies to domains [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) sold you, and both apps must be in the same workspace. The changelog links to a "Moving to another app" page in the docs for the full steps.
