# Invite collaborators straight from the search box

By Steven Van · 2026-10-10

Enter an email address in the app editor’s collaborator search to open an invite window with the address already filled in.

The collaborator invite window in [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) can now open with an email address already filled in.

In the app editor, click Add collaborator (+), enter someone’s email address in the search box, then click Invite. The [October 10 update](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-10-2026>) carries that address into the invite window.
