# Edit mode works on more elements

By Steven Van · 2026-08-09

Base44's edit mode now supports list items, table cells, buttons, and blockquotes, with instant preview updates.

[Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>)'s [edit mode](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#august-9-2026>) now covers more elements, including list items, table cells, buttons, and blockquotes. Edits to them save and update the live preview right away, and if one can't be applied, a message explains why.
