# Drop files anywhere on the chat panel

Dragging files from a computer onto the AI chat panel attaches them to a message.

Files dragged from a computer can now be attached to a message in [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) by dropping them anywhere on the AI chat panel. The change is included in the [October 7 update](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-7-2026>).
