# Disconnect GitHub from the import dialog

By Steven Van · 2026-09-27

A confirmed disconnect action now sits beside Switch account in the repository-import dialog and on the Base Code page.

Base44 now has a confirmed disconnect action for GitHub. It sits next to Switch account in the repository-import dialog and on the Base Code page, so a connection can be removed without leaving either screen.

The change was listed in the [Base44 product changelog](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#september-27-2026>) for [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>).
