# Decide what search engines can see

By Steven Van · 2026-09-28

Base44's SEO & GEO page gets per-page and whole-app indexing controls, plus switches for meta tags and structured data.

Base44 now lets you choose which pages search engines can index, on the Meta tags tab of the SEO & GEO page. The change was listed in the [September 28 changelog](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#september-28-2026>) for [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>).

- **Page by page:** each page has a search visibility toggle, plus a column showing which pages are indexed. Turning a page off removes it from the sitemap and adds a noindex tag.

- **Whole app:** the app can be hidden from search entirely, with a banner as a reminder that it is switched off.

- **Meta tags and structured data:** there are switches for injecting both into your pages.
