# Database limits by plan

By Steven Van · 2026-10-18

Base44 now caps database and record size by plan for apps created from October 18, 2026, with usage shown on the App usage page.

Each [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) app's database now has a size limit, and each record has a maximum size, both set by the plan. The change applies only to apps created from October 18, 2026.

## Checking usage

How much of the limit an app uses appears on the Database card of its App usage page. Base44 [published the change in its product changelog](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-18-2026>) and points to its "Database limits" documentation for the figures per plan.
