# Control workspace-wide app sharing

By Steven Van · 2026-10-19

Business and Enterprise workspace owners and admins can set whether apps are open to the whole workspace and who can invite outsiders.

Workspace owners and admins on [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>) can now decide whether app owners may share apps with the whole workspace. When sharing is allowed, anyone in the workspace can join a shared app without an invite. The change was [listed in the product changelog](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-19-2026>).

## What the setting covers

The control applies to both builder apps and Base Code apps. The same Collaboration settings also control who can invite people from outside the workspace.

## Availability

The setting is available on the **Business** and **Enterprise** plans.
