# Base44 restores Claude Fable 5 as a model option

The model returned on 2026-07-01 after a temporary outage, so users can again pick it to generate apps.

Users who describe an app to build can again choose Fable 5 to generate it. Base44 [announced](<https://x.com/i/status/2072418561897717926>) the model's return on 2026-07-01.
