# Choose which AI models your workspace uses

By Steven Van · 2026-10-18

Enterprise admins can switch off providers, open-weight or higher-credit models and set a default model for members who haven't chosen one.

Workspace owners and admins on [Base44](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/base44>)'s Enterprise plan can now decide which AI models members are allowed to use, according to the [vendor's changelog](<https://docs.base44.com/changelog/product#october-18-2026>).

## What admins can turn off

- Whole model providers

- Open-weight models

- Models that use more credits

## Defaults and what members see

Admins can also set the default model for members who haven't picked one themselves. Any model that has been turned off shows as disabled in every model picker.

## Availability

The control is available on the **Enterprise** plan. Base44 documents the settings in its "Controlling AI models" guide.
