# Base44 launches its own AI model for app generation

Base 1 joins Base44's model lineup, trained on tens of millions of builder interactions and auto-selected alongside other models.

Base44 has launched **Base 1**, its own AI model built for app generation, trained on tens of millions of real builder interactions on the platform. Base44's summary says this gives it a grounding in "the shape of a real app from the first prompt."

Base44 says it is now the first app-creation platform with its own model, live in production.
