# Base44 apps can now chat with their own users

Builders add an AI agent from the Agents tab that answers questions, retains conversation context, and connects to other tools in-app or over messaging

Base44 apps can now talk back to their own users. From the Agents tab in the app dashboard, builders can set up an automated agent that answers questions, acts on data, remembers context across a conversation, and connects to other tools, either inside the app itself or over external messaging channels.
