# The Compliance API chat endpoints now also return chats from the unified Claude experience

The beta is available to Claude Enterprise organizations and works with their existing Compliance Access Key.

Claude Enterprise organizations can now retrieve chats from the unified Claude experience through [Anthropic](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/anthropic>)'s Compliance API. The expanded chat coverage is in beta and works with an existing Compliance Access Key.

## Access through the chat endpoints

Security, legal, and compliance teams can use the chat endpoints to retrieve chat content for audits and downstream tooling. Requests require a Compliance Access Key with the relevant scope, sent in the x-api-key header, along with an anthropic-version header.
