# For cache diagnostics, a response to a request that sends the cache-diagnosis-2026-04-07 beta header now…

By Steven Van · 2026-09-18

Requests using the cache-diagnosis beta header get a consistent diagnostics field, and Compliance API sessions now cover Claude in Chrome.

Two small API changes landed for [Anthropic](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/tools/anthropic>)'s Claude Platform on September 18.

- In [cache diagnostics](<https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/build-with-claude/cache-diagnostics>), a response to a request sending the cache-diagnosis-2026-04-07 beta header now always includes the diagnostics field. It's null when the request didn't include the diagnostics object; previously the field was omitted in that case instead.

- The Compliance API's local session endpoints now also return transcripts of Claude in Chrome sessions (product\_surface value claude\_in\_chrome), in beta for Claude Enterprise organizations, using an existing Compliance Access Key and the read:compliance\_user\_data scope.
