# Firefly's AI Assistant enters public beta By Steven Van · 2026-04-27 Paid Firefly and Creative Cloud Pro users get a chat agent that runs multi-step edits across Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere. The [Firefly]() AI Assistant, powered by Adobe's creative agent, is now in public beta for customers on Creative Cloud Pro or paid Firefly plans (Pro, Pro Plus and Premium). It works as a chat interface: describe an outcome in your own words and it orchestrates multi-step workflows across Creative Cloud apps including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere and Firefly, drawing on more than 60 pro-grade tools such as Auto Tone, Generative Fill, Remove Background and Vectorize. - Pre-built "Creative Skills" cover common tasks like batch editing photos, building mood boards, retouching portraits, creating social variations and designing product mockups. - The assistant shows its steps as it works and asks questions along the way, so you can refine, redirect or take over at any point. - Work saves directly to Creative Cloud storage, so it's available when you open Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere or other Adobe apps. Eligible customers get complimentary daily generative credits for use with the assistant during the beta, refreshing each day. Adobe also says it is working to bring these tools to third-party AI models, including Anthropic's Claude. Read the [full announcement]().
