# Claude Opus 5.5 Becomes Adam’s Default Model

Adam says Claude Opus 5.5 beats GPT-6 Sol and nears GPT-6 Astra at about 20% of the cost per task.

**Adam** has switched its default CAD generation model to Claude Opus 5.5. According to Adam, the model outperforms GPT-6 Sol and comes close to GPT-6 Astra's performance, at roughly 20% of the cost per task.
