# Runway Dev is now available as a Codex plugin

[Runway](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/runway>) Dev is available as a [Codex](<https://creatorstoolbox.com/products/openai-codex>) plugin. It bundles the Runway Dev MCP connection and seven skills so Codex can [build Runway's API into an app](<https://x.com/runwayml/status/2115510886144282927>).

The connection lets Codex check models, limits, and prices in your Runway Dev account. The skills cover the SDKs and building with models, routers, Characters, Recipes, and Workflows. Generations still run through the API.

The Codex IDE extension can't load plugins. Runway's [plugin guide](<https://docs.dev.runwayml.com/guides/plugin/>) has installation and sign-in instructions.
